I’ve been on Spring Break this week and have done my best to have fun with a bit of writing and painting — mainly painting, as my output this week might suggest!
Of this week’s paintings, this is my favorite.
I like this one, too. I was going for a washed-out, rainy look.
I painted this one about a year ago. I wish I could remember how I did it!
Here, I tried something a little different.
Here’s a close-up of the image above.
When I had leftover paint, I’d fool around with images like this one.
And this one.
Wow! You have been productive. They are all lovely. But I also love your favourite. And I love the second to last one, as well. I look at it and see the ocean. I could stare at the ocean all day. Probably not what you were painting at all, but it’s what I see.
Thank you! I can definitely see the ocean in that one!
:). I’m ready to go for a swim, now.
That top one looks like “Aspens in Autumn,” out here, the 2nd one down has such a “comfortable” feel to it (“Comfortable Trees”!), love that 4th one down, that one you can’t remember how you did it, then love that 2nd one up from the bottom, too (reminds me of cirrus clouds)! The bottom one gives me circus-and-clown imagery.
Great job, all around, Marc! Love your work! :-]
Thanks, Frank!
The second one is my favorite too. The trees are so vibrant and alive against the gray sky. Gorgeous!
Thank you!
