The Liars Club Oddcast #032 | Marc Schuster, Musician & Writer

Yet again, another month has gotten by me without a post on my blog! Here’s a link to a recent interview I did on the Liars Club Oddcast… A splendid time was had by all!

Project Entertainment Network

Could you walk away from writing novels cold turkey mid-career? Marc opens up about what led him to let go of one dream to embrace another.  An honest, thought-provoking episode.

  1. Great interview, Marc! One must follow where one’s soul takes us! I’d had a similar experience with a different small press publisher who’d once commented that I didn’t have “enough” of a secondary character in one of my earlier books. Really?, I thought? But it was a SECONDARY character! And exactly how are you deciding this? Didn’t you see that it really wasn’t about that SECONDARY CHARACTER? Did you read the entire story? Yeah, I feel your pain. I wish you all the best in all that you do!

And, btw, The Grievers: if your remember, I was in PAIN literally laughing out loud as I read this book! My wife once had to come over from another part of our house to see what it was that was killing me with laughter, I was so hysterical! Yes, a serious subject, but your handling of the story was masterful!

  2. Thanks, Frank! And I have to say that I’m enjoying my preview copy of your forthcoming collection of short stories immensely!
