“Unobtrusive Groove” Revisited

I’m working on some new material and the video I wrote about a little while ago should be available soon, but here’s a track I released in 2016 — a jazzy little number called “Unobtrusive Groove.” I’d taken it down for a while, but a student of mine reminded me of its existence, so I re-released it. Should be available on Spotfiy, iTunes, and other online music sources by the end of the week. For now, you can download it for free at BandCamp. Just enter zero as the price you’d like to pay!

The Paul Sanwald Quartet

My brother-in-law Paul Sanwald is an amazing musician and composer. His new album, The Paul Sanwald Quartet, has a great jazz vibe that’s equal parts melodic and rhythmic. Give it a listen below. If you like it, buy it as a download or on Vinyl. And if you’re in San Francisco, pick up a copy of the LP at Noise Records!

Also, if you’re curious about Paul’s writing process and his influences, give this interview a listen:
